Fed up with cables? Me too. That’s why I decided to purchase some Powerbeats wireless headphones. Whilst there are hundreds to choose from, I shopped around. and here is why I recommend the Powerbeats2 wireless headphones.
- Sweat Resistant
- Great sound quality
- 6 hours playback
- 15 minutes charge = 1 hour playback
- Quick connection via Bluetooth
- Visually appealing
I’ve owned a set of Beats Solo headphones before because I love my bass and bassy they were. But, to my surprise, I found that my ears would hurt after using them for long periods of time. I would have thought the leather cushions would be comfortable (and the headband wasn’t too tight on my head either) but the lack of comfort led me to selling them on eBay. I wanted wireless ones anyway. So, I looked around and the Powerbeats2 caught my eye, namely the black & red pair. I mean, if we’re going to go off aesthetics then these get a 10/10 from me. But you don’t just buy headphones for their looks. I know Beats headphones are bassy and that was one of my key requirements, so I decided to stick to Beats. More so after I got to try them on at the Beats pop-up store at Heathrow, Terminal 5.
They were wireless, loud, noise-cancelling, bassy and offered really good sound quality. What more could I ask for? Well, a cheaper price wouldn’t go amiss. These retail at between £129 – £149 but I managed to grab them for £99.99 on Black Friday. I used Quidco too so gained a small amount of cashback (every little helps) 😉
Were the Powerbeats2 worth the buy?
They definitely were as I’m really pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone looking for wireless headphones that are noise-cancelling, bassy and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. I do, however, think that they are too expensive for in-ear headphones. You could definitely find cheaper ones that are probably almost as or just as good. But if you fancy these for yourself then you can get them here
I hope the unboxing and review videos above were helpful.
